When We Were Young is my debut romance novel. The tropes for this nostalgic story are friends-to-lovers, he falls first, trauma healing, primal scenes, and some more I will probably add to this list later!

In this story, we follow Isaac McKnight and Holly Valles through their late teenage years. They are best friends, and close neighbors and develop a beautiful friendship despite the troubles they each have at home.

As adults, they get separated by life and circumstances. When Holly is drawn back to her small hometown, she rekindles her relationship with Isaac, who helps her face the demons of her past and the promises of her future.
